History and Philosophy


Biolinea.com as we know it today was born in the year 2000, but its roots date back to the beginning of the eighties of last century, when Dr. Sebastian Crespí and a group of clinical and environmental microbiologists set up in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Biocontrol, a leading company in public health and tourism. Since then, Dr. Crespí has spent much of his professional career working with the tourist industry solving public health problems in hotels and developing educational and improvement programs in all fields of health and tourism.

Today, the company is part of the DRCRESPIPublicHealthSolutions group, which embraces the environmental health and water treatment company ATA Ecotecnología e Higiene, and has developed and been transformed into an internationally renowned company in its field. As a matter of fact, today we provide services worldwide and collaborate with a wide range of tourism organizations. It is our pleasure and honour to enjoy the confidence of thousands of customers worldwide, including main hotel chains, international cruise companies, leading tour operators, hospitals, etc. We do not think it is an exaggeration to state that we are among the world leading companies in some of our fields of action, such as prevention and legionella control.


What distinguishes us? We like to think that we solve public health problems when and where they exist and that we contribute to avoid them better than others. We believe that our clients, and the clients of our clients, are our partners and that we collaborate with them in the permanent search for the best for their companies. We always think in terms of cost-effectiveness and use the resources of our clients as if they were ours. We always pursue excellence and, for example, we do not charge fees if our training courses do not reach a minimum of 8 out of 10 in the evaluation questionnaires. Last but not least, we practice codes of good practice and ethical conduct. systematic and rigorous in the conviction that only then, working with solid values, we will benefit our customers and our company.
